In June the family got to go to a fishing event for special needs kids. Carly was reluctant to go but as you'll see below who caught most of the fish!!!
It was a great day with lots of sunshine and free food. We also met many new friends that day including Mr. Tony. He was Carly's helper for the day. We were not even sure that Carly would get to fish and we re willing to pay for her; but, the owners of the pay pond were nice enough to let her fish too, for free.

This BIG GUY was getting released into one of the ponds. EVERYONE quickly got their poles in the water!!!
We had such a fun day. The best part for us............... it was ALL free!! Judging from these photos I don't think Carly will be as reluctant next year.
