Rock wall climbing.....

The first week in July Carly wanted to go rock wall climbing at a local REC center. She LOVES it and has no problem scaling up the giant wall.
We had a great time!!
Go Carly go!!!

At the end........she decided to have a race with her dad. They were neck and neck until the very top!! Guess who won???? I will say..the younger of the two!!!

I am sure she will be asking to go again real soon!!

Last days at SCA..........

It's hard to believe she has been at Salem Christian academy since pre-school. We will miss many folks and families. They have all given Carly a good base on which she can fall back on when she needs to. We are VERY grateful for that.

6th grade graduation.........

Recess!!

Old friends will be missed.....

The CLAP OUT!!!!

TV Crew Gang

Thanks Mrs. "M" and Mrs. Potts!!! We will miss you.

Fishing.....

In June the family got to go to a fishing event for special needs kids. Carly was reluctant to go but as you'll see below who caught most of the fish!!!
It was a great day with lots of sunshine and free food. We also met many new friends that day including Mr. Tony. He was Carly's helper for the day. We were not even sure that Carly would get to fish and we re willing to pay for her; but, the owners of the pay pond were nice enough to let her fish too, for free.

This BIG GUY was getting released into one of the ponds.
EVERYONE quickly got their poles in the water!!!

We had such a fun day. The best part for us............... it was ALL free!!
Judging from these photos I don't think Carly will be as reluctant next year.
Thank you Rainbow Lakes and Montgomery County DDS (developmental delay services)!! We'll see you all next year!!!
